What Is BrainHeart Music?
BrainHeart Music is a pioneering Scottish music production company specialising
in the production of highly powerful and profoundly beautiful music for use in
Complimentary Medicine, therapeutic Healthcare, stress management, personal
relaxation, yoga and meditation.
Its highly effective use with children and adults who suffer from Autism, learning difficulties, ADHD and brain-injuries has led to it being hailed as the new wave in Music Therapy.
Visionary music composer, Yaatri, who is the creative driving force behind this new concept in music, formed BrainHeart Music in 2005.
Yaatri has dedicated his life to researching and exploring the nature of
sound frequency vibrations within music and the vast potential of harnessing
them for beneficial use on the human MindBody system.
As its name suggests, BrainHeart Music stimulates both the Brain and the Heart simultaneously. The music is incredibly powerful because it contains certain audible frequencies whose vibrations stimulate both sides of the brain individually and then travel up the corpus callosum - the soft tissue situated in the central brain that connects the left and right parts of the brain. This process of “unification” creates a communicating bridge between the left and right hemispheres of the brain allowing information to flow more freely.
Whilst this is going on, the beauty of the music triggers feeling centres deep within the heart and induces rarefied feelings of deep belonging, comfort, upliftment, peace and forgiveness. This highly charged response connects the brain and heart. The electrical impulses generated display that both the brain and the heart are responding in what is termed a “coherent” way. They are in phase with one another electrically and this creates enhanced, smoother physiological activity within the body.
It is this rare ability to stimulate both sides of the brain, unite them with each other whilst also, simultaneously, inducing positively beneficial responses from deep within the heart that is the secret of its success.
It particularly helps those with brain injuries or autism, as the part of the brain it stimulates may be dormant in their bodies. One Scottish healthcare organisation uses BrainHeart Music as part of their treatment for their dyslexic, autistic and brain injured patients and has witnessed some phenomenal results.
The great thing about the music is that you do not need a therapist - it works whenever you play the CD offering deep relaxation to everyone and it has an incredible effect on those with speech problems.
The music and its healing powers are already causing quite a stir within complementary therapy organisations whose members have long fought for traditional medicine to acknowledge the valuable role that complementary therapies can play in aiding the healing process.
